A desert-specific problem
How hard water ruins good glass
Coachella Valley water carries heavy calcium and mineral content. When irrigation overspray, misters, or water features splash glass and dry in the sun, over and over, the minerals bond to the surface as white scale. Ordinary window cleaning won’t touch it, and given enough seasons the deposits chemically etch the glass itself.
Our restoration process dissolves and polishes away the mineral layer to bring back true optical clarity. The honest caveat, learned over twenty years: timing matters. Early-stage buildup usually comes off completely; glass left spotted for years may be permanently etched. If replacement would be the only fix, we’ll tell you before any work begins.
- Calcium & mineral scale removed from glass and shower enclosures.
- Sprinkler, mister, and water-feature overspray damage treated.
- Honest assessment first. We’ll tell you what’s restorable.
- Spot-free final rinse: our filtration strips the water to zero dissolved solids, so nothing is left behind to crystallize. Repeat visits lift old minerals instead of adding new ones.
- Prevention guidance so the spots don’t come back. See our guide.
